GVK crossed a significant milestone with the commissioning of its Goindwal Sahib TPP in Punjab. After the successful commissioning of Unit 1 on 1 April, 2016, Unit 2 was commissioned on 14 April, 2016.
GVK CSIA, Mumbai handled passenger traffic of 41.6 million in 2015-16, thus entering the league of big world airports. This figure is six million more than what was estimated by MIAL for 2015-16.
